I will get a box - always loved the Monte #2 and the Monte #4 Reserva that I had was one of the best smokes ever so I do have high hopes for the MGR.

I'm confused at the math. That pricelist had them @720 Euro. That's a hair north or south of $1000 US/CDN, which is $66 per.

If you're talking The CGR, yes, they are that good, IMVHO.

Yep, that's the math. But that Italian price includes a lot of taxes. And by the looks of their prices on other cigars ($1000 for a box of Esplendidos for example), the taxes would double the cost per cigar. So perhaps the duty free vendor price will be in the $35 range.

smoked 1 of these..It tastes like a Monte 2 on steroids..very young..but maximum monte flavor..love them....

Like a Porsche or a Ferrari to some would be a waste of money because they don't have it to spend, so will the 1966 and GR.

After smoking the MGR, felt the CGR's intitial smoke was better, but aging may be a determined factor! Just like now that CGR has gone back to sleep ~~~

CGR for $675? Or was that pounds sterling or euro? Either way, I wish I could find them for that price anywhere... a box would be mine!!
