Chelsea8 Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Hi Everyone, I've been enjoying cigars for 10 years now, so noobie to this forum but not to cigars. As it is very warm here i keep my cigars in a climate controlled humidor to ensure that they rest and age well. Mostly, 99.9% of the time it is only CCs for me, though this week I tried 1 of 2 NCs that a friend gave me and it was horrible - turned out to be short filler stuff of unknown origin. The other one is said to be an aged 10 year old Rocky Patel, so I hope it is better. I shall be going to the Gold Coast at the end of this January, for a week, and would appreciate some advice on whether to bring my own stogies or buy at the Brisbane airport duty free. Is there much restrictions for smoking there - eg. ok to smoke at the beach, restaurants, clubs, etc. Thanks for any information and I look forward to both learning and contributing to this forum. Ken Gargett Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 welcome and enjoy. and while i am loathe to say anything nice about rob, best idea would be to divert friom the airport in to czars and pick some up there. forget the airport and be very careful of limits coming in, if you choose that route.

Having worked out of Singapore for a number of years it is one of my favourite places particularly the old Singapore Cricket Club Mens bar which has been a large part of my education Avoid cigars at Brisbane airport or even Singapore Airport. If you have time just pop on throuh here for a cigar and a drink on the way through to the Gold Coast as we are only 15 minutes from the Brisbane Airport. Don't use the crystal ashtray on Rob's desk. 3. Beware of the bathhouse down the road... unless you're into that sort of thing... not that there's anything wrong with that... 4. Lisa's hugs can break a strong man's back. 5. A 30 minute visit, is never just a 30 minute visit. Plan to be there a while.

I always wear underwear, except when I'm in bed, taking a shower/bath or swimming. I know what it is like going to a cigar shop with in a walk in humidor.

Um I wouldn't get your hopes up over that Rocky Patel...just sayin. lol I dont expect much from NCs, that's why I don't buy any. I only buy CCs and only tried the 2 NCs previously, because friends bought them in the US.
