Will probably stay two nites and tour the wineries during the day.

brokenwood, tyrrells, tower etc, all good wineries. many others. try and get in to tower for a place to stay. magnificent but limited. plenty of good restaurants, though names escape at the moment.

Recommend a visit to Audrey Wilkinson.

Spectacular view and some pretty decent wines too.

Thanks ended up booking Tower lodge for a 2nite package..

Includes dinner both nites both 9 course menu's, so I guess just light lunches are in order.

Hey Chuck agree with MongBoy. Audrey Wilkinson is a great boutique producer and a great view of the valley from their cellar door. They have accomodation as well but more suited to larger groups from memory.
