*Due to glitches and sometimes quality falling thru the cracks on the most prominent of the Corona Gordas (the Magnum 46, Cohiba Siglo IV, & Bolivar Coronas Extras), as everyone has been recommending: I would nominate the seldom recommended, overlooked Saint Luis Rey Serie A. Not ever have I had one that was a let down, or one that fell thru the cracks due to normal human error in its construction. They are ALWAYS great, everytime :D

The '09 Mag 46 box that Lisa set me up with has been one of the most consistent burning cigars I have. At first I didn't really like the flavor profile, but as they have rested they have improved dramatically. I'd definitely pick up a another box for aging if I had the storage space.

Thanks everyone for your wisdom and helping me to make a decision. A convincing win for the Upmann Mag 46. Just emailed Lisa and asked her to pick me out a nice box.

Cheers,

Mark

Hmmm! I would say that you left out the best of the bunch and that is the RGCE. I happen to believe the RGCE is one of the best cigars money can buy! -Piggy

*I think I have one in the humidor. Due to further recommendation (and since I'm certain it's gone past the 12month period as prescribed on the box) I just may have it for the Bernard Hopkins vs. Jean Pascal fight tonight. Thanks, my RWWJ friend! (lol)

What about the Juan Lopez #1? I have a box dated Oct05 and they are a Great stick! Excellent construction, nice aroma and a great flavor.

hands down the H. Upmann Mag 46 of as I like to call it Hummer 46 Not only my fav Coronoa Gorda but my fav. in all vitolas

My favorite is the Punch Royal Selection No. 11. I love the depth and complexity that come with age. The '99s and '03s are smoking well now, and the '07s show great promise.

Absent the Punch RS11, I'll grab an aged Upmann Mag 46. The older the better; these never disappoint.

Honorable Mention goes to the Bolivar Corona Extra. A great cigar.

(edited to correct Punch name)

My favorite is the Punch Super Selection No. 11. I love the depth and complexity that come with age. The '99s and '03s are smoking well now, and the '07s show great promise.

Absent the Punch SS11, I'll grab an aged Upmann Mag 46. The older the better; these never disappoint.

Do you mean Punch Royal Selection 11? The SS is only 1 or 2.

Mag 46 for me although admittedly, I haven't smoked any of the others. My experience in this vitola is limited but the SLR A and the Bolis are on my list to get.

Steve, I mean the Royal Selection 11. My alzheimer's is getting worse. But fortunately the cigars are getting better!
