LeafLover Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Those cigars are works of art. Will we ever be so lucky in the United States to have a master roller show up at the local B&M? All I've ever seen in the US is some cat in a cowboy hat rolling some short 50 rg cigars. I've done some rolling in the past, but my wrappers were white and paper.
thechenman Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 God, any chance you can put aside some of those cigars Ramses is rolling for people to order, who can't be there tonight? Even a 2-3 stick sampler would be awesome.Good luck for the bash tonight, i'm sure it'll be great. Looking forward to the photos. That is a great idea. I would love to be able to get my hands on some of the custom rolls as I'm sure many other FoHers would as well...
Puros Y Vino Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Very classy approach to how the Ramses spends his time there Prez. It looks like a great event. I had the chance to see a roller ply his trade once in person. The LCDH brought in a gentleman to Toronto. His name is Arnaldo Alfonso. He stayed a little over a week doing the local B&M circuit. He made some beautiful, robustos, pyramides and coronas on the tour. These folks are like artists IMO.
cgarner Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 A true work of art. Every time I pull out an old favorite I'm amazed at how smooth and clean a cigar can be, then I'm reminded how delicate the can be as I tend to drop my cigars. Truly amazing how precise the work is on such a delicate work of art.
Tom Bolivar Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Excellent event! The cigars look awesome. I have the feeling I can smell them from here! Hope it will be a success! Enjoy it!
nonameno Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Hello Prez and fellow FOHers, What a wonderful time! I sure wish I was there instead of this freezing winter. The cigars look delicious. What is the size of the cigars? I look forward to the video. Thank you for sharing and best wishes for a Grand Evening, Curtiss
Fuzz Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Argh! I hate my boss. Wanted to be there, but instead I'm stuck in Orcland! Hope you guys had a great time. Looks like it would have been a blast, though it sounds tamer than what I expected. Bster, 103:0pm finish?! Doesn't sound like a Rob party at all. I'm beginning to wonder what time Rob turned up at home?

Lisa, you can tell us the truth... is Rob on his last legs? Did he find religon? Is he possessed? Either way, should we call for a priest?
Guest Elektrobot Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 This man does beautiful work. Tempting enough for a flight across the pond next time he's around-
Leopolis Semper Fidelis Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 G'day Prez,All the best for today. Wish I could fly over to attend. I'll be seeing the master Ramses next weekend in Auckland. Looking forward to the photos and interview. Cheers mef Where and when will Ramses be displaying his skills when he's in JAFA-land?
Scardinoz Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 One of these days I should visit Australia even if for no reason but to visit the store.
