Ken Gargett Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 politics and religion in one. got to love that. The Pope and Julia Gillard are on the same stage at the Sydney Opera House in front of a huge crowd. The Pope leans towards Ms Gillard and said, "Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they'll forever speak of this day and rejoice!" Gillard replied, "I seriously doubt that with one little wave of your hand? Show me!" So the Pope backhanded the *****!
Ryan Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Very good. I heard a version before with the Pope and the Queen of England at a Celtic/Rangers match.

frenchkiwi Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 the Pope showing himself to be truly infallible ... "I heard a version before with the Pope and the Queen of England at a Celtic/Rangers match." speaking of the Old Firm and religion, anyone heard the Partick Thistle (they are the third football club in Glasgow area behind Celtic and Rangers) song: 'we hate roman catholics, we hate protestants too, we hate jews and muslims, partick thistle we love you'. (to the tune of a well known hymn - ironically!)
