Puros Y Vino Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 LOL. Good post. Don't worry Fidel, that isn't a beer you'd trade cigars for.
El Presidente Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Nothing like targetting a communist for capital gain.....Love it
Montaigut Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 The CEO's of Stroh's, Bud and Guinness were having lunch together. The CEO's from Stroh's and Bud each ordered one of their own touting it as the best. The CEO of Guinness ordered a coffee. The other two, puzzled, asked him why a coffee? "Neither of you is having a beer, why should I?" - he replied. Now, seriously, if Castro was serious what Beer would you recommend to go along with his stick?
cigcars Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 *I read the comments on the YouTube thumbs up/down segment, and one person said the commercial's fun, but that beer is horrible.
Leopolis Semper Fidelis Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Remember the Oliver Stone film/doco about Castro? Castro was wearing Nike shoes throughout the film. So much for dealing with the enemy I think at heart Castro is a true capitalist, forced to communism by the US' refusal to recognise the revolution in 1959. To the contrary: Castro was pro-Communist since his teens, and, after initially supporting Batista, the United States backed Castro instead, persuading Batista to give up power. On 11th December, 1963, the New York Times printed one of President Kennedy’s last interviews, in which he said: “I think we have spawned, constructed, entirely fabricated without knowing it, the Castro movement.” In 1979, the New York Times published a letter from the former U.S. Ambassador to Cuba, Earl E. T. Smith, in which he said: “Castro could not have seized power in Cuba without the aid of the United States. American government agencies and the United States press played a major role in bringing Castro to power ... The State Department consistently intervened ... to bring about the downfall of Batista, thereby making it possible for Fidel Castro to take over the government of Cuba.”
