Prez, do you take video review requests?

Can we start it? I just saw those RyJ Cazadores you posted and would love if you reviewed that cigar. It's not one I ever see anyone review and would love your guys take, oh and I already have a box on the way so I'm sold, but would love your take. Is the idea of taking requests something you guys may do. I know I'd personally like to see you guys go back and re-review some of the smokes you've already done, ie Party 898V, RASS, RACF (I'd love to see if this one has progressed any). Just a thought and not to say the reviews you guys do isn't good, it's just a thought.

I think it is a great idea. The 898's that were reviewed obviously were not ready to be smoked and should be reviewed again.

I'm just in the midst of watching the different reviews, trying to catch up on what I've missed over the past few years (my wife isn't too happy about my "video time" being spent in the home office - but, tough cahones).

I like it - a "Cohiba Robusto Cigar Review, Take 2 (X months/years later)", something like that.

Exactly my thoughts. Hit some of these cigars that didn't do so well on the original review and let's see how they have matured in a year. I know the RASS was one of them they did that didn't fare to well but they smoked it against the CoRo. But the 898V which made the top 12 most bought smoked had a terrible showing in the review. Let's see how they'e progressed.

Taking it one step further. Part of the idea of the LIVE FOH Video Podacast (coming soom/almost there) was to let ou guys know what we will be reviewing and have the opportunity of doing the review with us. We will/should have the capability of real time member commentary.

Sounds awesome. I'm glad that I have wireless DSL service for using my laptop on the back deck! Only issue is, is that I'm 14 hours behind you guys - when it's 8pm for you guys, it's only 6am for me, same day. So, if you smoke something really heavy, that would be potentially interesting for me that early in the morning! LOL.

Sounds awesome - I like where Cubanface's comment is going. Rob could start a "Week 37 Poll - Which cigar to re-review??" thread (and likewise for each week), to see the Forum's suggestions/opinions for cigars to re-review. If it were only open to already-reviewed cigars, that would be perfect. That way, there's who knows how much other time in the week to review new/other stuff. But, one specific poll, and then one specific video, both done each week, which only re-reviews an already reviewed cigar. But the condition would be that it would need to be the exact same box (date & factory code) as the box that the sticks were pulled out of for the original review.

There's a bit of logistics there, but I think it could really turn into something special. Sort of a video diary, over time, of how a cigar progresses in tasting over the years.
