Had a wonderful BRC last night, amazing. Have no pictures of it unfortunately, but by the end I was burning my fingers.

First third started out wonderfully, I picked up a lot of spice, notes of anise and allspice, and with that some earthy qualities. Wet barn also came to mind through the first third. It really was lovely, not refined in the manner that some are, but had an older quality to it which I love in Boli's.

Second third settled down some and while there was still some allspice characteristics I began to pick up some cafe mocha flavors which came into play which were quite lovely.

The final third really mellowed out and I began to pick up some more hay qualities with honey and chamomile, it really ended beautifully and my I then had to soak my fingers in ice water for a couple minutes to compensate for burning them.

I have had some dull ones out of this box as well but these last couple have been spot on. I got about half the box left and I am going to throw these now to the far back of the humi.

Hope others have had the chance to enjoy this cigar with the same code and hope all have a great weekend if yours hasn't begun yet.

I've had 2 boxes of TEB JUN 08 BRC's (1 HQ and 1 PE), 1 box of TEB JUN 08 BPC (HQ) and 3 boxes of TEB May 08 Party Lusi (10) 1 PE, 1 HQ and 1 PSP. I am a TEB 08 *****. If my cigar tetris comes down to 1 box of 08 TEB and 1 box of something else... the TEB box wins. I heard that was the Partagas factory code for that year... not sure what it is for '09 and '10

Thanks to the beautiful pictures I'd seen on this forum I talked myself into buying 2 boxes BRC TEB MAY08, amazing looking cigars.

If 6 boxes makes you a TEB 08 ***** I can't imagine what I am.

If I had to make an uneducated guess about the 09 Partagas code it would be LRE.

I also have an HQ box of TEB June 08s and now only a few left, I can't get enough of them. Fabulous robustos! Nice review.

Glad you enjoyed them and thanks for posting.
