bob25 Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Its never a bad day for a PSD 4. The box is from CZAR HQ 08 and it a glorious one. The aroma is amazing with a little cedar smell,I can defiantly understand why this is one of the top robuso's out there. Pre light. Great draw with a little resistant, exactly how I like my cigars,no wind tunnels. First taste gave a spicy flavor, maybe pepper, very smooth. Into the second third the cigar was rich of flavor, defiantly above medium, full of smoke,I was in-love again You know when a cigar is on its amazing and its not happened a lot. Final notes: Superb cigar! The construction was absolutely perfect all the way to the end,no burning issues what so ever. Cant wait to try it again in a few more months.
sandholm Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Hi Great review, great picture and an amazing cigar, thanks for sharing cheers
El Presidente Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Great work Bob I have been enjoying the hell out of these this year.
Guest rob Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I also had a Czar supplied PSD4 during the week and it really was a cracker. Im a little saddened by the fact the box is nearly empty. But like a death in the family - its best to remember fondly... rather that live in sadness at their departure.
LeafLover Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Thanks for the review. You are wise to have bought them from Czar. I bought a box from the cheesy nation that has 2 less dots than normal and just doesn't smoke/taste right. Fed up with trying to figure out it's authenticity. Deep down I know it's as genuine as a stripper's feelings for a customer. Lesson learned.
Laxman Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Just smoked one myself tonight. Got a few boxes of PSP psd 4's from czar and have to say that have knocked my socks off!
nonameno Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Hello Bob, Great review of a special cigar. I ordered my first box of PSD4s from the Czar this week and can't wait to get my hands on them! Thank you, Curtiss
Freddy Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 This is not directly related to your PSD 4 review (which I loved), but to your use of the descriptive phrase "wind tunnel." Just as I don't enjoy a hard draw, I also don't enjoy a "wind tunnel" either. I realize that a tough draw may be caused by too much humidity, but what is the cause of the opposite , i.e. a "wind tunnel"?

Jesuscookies Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Yeah the 08 box codes that I have received from the Czar have been off the hook! Working through a box of BOP AGO08 and there has not been a bad one in the lot!
