MIKA27 Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Wow, what a find!! That is indeed fantastic news. I've just looked at the site and it seems legitimate. Thanks for sharing.
Ellery Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Yeah I bought 2 bottles from this actual store (located in new jersey) One of the members here notified me about it. They have a great selection and excellent prices
thechenman Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Great prices, but it is the shipping that kills you. Best if you can pick it up...
perfectform Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 Yeah but you're out the door with ground shipping for under 60 bones a bottle. I should have bought more.
Guest rob Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Just wondering.... but is there a chance that these are fakes? The old adage of "if its too good to be true... " is ringing in my head.
thechenman Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 I think it is safe to say that this vendor can be trusted. They do a great deal of volume both online and in store, and thus are able to get product that they can move at fairly deep discounts. I only wish they were closer to NYC.
Guest rob Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 I guess seeing so many people get burnt by fake cigar peddlers, I have become pessimistic when I see low prices in other luxury goods. I'd happily take a chance at those prices.
lemmycaution Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 I think NJ is usually really cheap anyway. I've bought wine from there and the prices at retail were close to the actual "cost" for a liquor store in NY.
reg Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 this place is about 30 min from me, might have to stop by
acidmase Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Wow I haven’t been on the forum in a while! I am an employee of this fine establishment and if anyone needs help or has any questions please feel free to PM me and I will answer as soon as I can.
Ken Gargett Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Just wondering.... but is there a chance that these are fakes? The old adage of "if its too good to be true... " is ringing in my head. given the bottle they'd need, i would no think it would be worth faking them. not enough in it. better they fake top wines if that is their go.
acidmase Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 very true ken! Wine Spec had an issue out not to long ago with a faous wine collector that got ripped off a few times. Amazing how they produce fakes. Not any joe off the street can do it.
