A colleague of mine asked me a rather intriguing question the other day, that in turn, I would like to present to all of you. He asked, "If you had to choose one cigar (marka & vitola) to start your day with, one to accompany you in the afternoon & one to help you celebrate the end of your day, what would they be?" What do you think?

*Always start out the day with a light, mild one. You don't want to start out all whoozy and dizzy headed at the beginning of the day. If you don't have to go anywhere, a medium to strong one for the afternoon. Then a nice powerful churchill or double corona to end the day after a fine steak dinner, or such!

probably something short in the morning, something more substantial in the afternoon, and then anything goes at night

Trini Reyes in the morning, Regio or RASS with a few years on it after Lunch and a RA 898 in the evening

I normally start with a double corona, often before I've even got out of bed. I put it on my pillow the night before so all I have to do when I wake is lean over and start puffing. Lighting can be an issue though.

This ain't hard.

In the morning, either a Cohiba Corona Especiale or Lancero

In the afternoon, either a Punch RS No. 11 or Upmann Mag 46

In the evening, either a Partagas 898V or Serie du Connaisseur

To be honest, I rarely smoke very early or late in the day. But generally speaking, I smoke what I feel like smoking, when I feel like smoking it

regardless of what time it is.

If I had to break it down, I'd probably smoke something more full bodied in the middle of the day, and less so early and late - especially before

going to bed.

The rule of thumb from morning to evening is to smoke mild to full. I generally follow this too not fatigue the taste buds, as I smoke 2 or 3 cigars daily. Ones I'm enjoying lately are:

Morning: PLPC or SCDH Principe

Afternoon: Trini Coloniales, JLS1

Evening: PSD4, CohoRo, Party Connie 1

I gave up on "bigger" c igars for the fact is the flavor and power isnt there. Now if Churchills or DCs' tased as much of a powerhouse as PCs or Robustos, I woukld tend to smoke them.

First: Diplomaticos 4, Quai D'Orsay Corona, Party Short

(I don't always want to start slow/weak)

Second: Partagas SDC, LGC 1/2/3/4, Trinidad Col/Fund, CoRo/Corona Esp

Third: Cohiba ESP/Siglo 6, Lusitania, Don Alejandro, Sir Winston, 898v, Genios

lol. Most of my faves there. Who needs RR/LE?
