niggaese Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Share some my new arrived BHK with everyone, for those who got BHK already, few smokers recommand me to start with 52, and keep 54,56 for another few weeks after burning them.

jman Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 How much did those set you back? May be 3 of the greatest cigar boxes i've ever laid eyes on!!!
niggaese Posted May 21, 2010 Author Posted May 21, 2010 Great photos and thanks for sharing. Please give us a follow up review when you get a chance to light up the 52. Very excited about them!!! After keeping them for a week now, i think its time to start buring one of them, i decide to start with 52 first last night, spend around 80 mins, very aggressive cohiba bean teast with creamy and later on hint of roast Almond teast with little suprised of bitter Sourness lime at the end . i will have to say i need to keep them for few more weeks try one again and write an complete review on it. Then i start pick a 56, spend around 150 mins, at the begining teast very sweet and teast of local chinaese chicken soup with roast bread & cohiba bean teast plus undefined creamy of cheese? or butter? after half way to go , its getting so strong that i have to slow down my speed, take it slowy, 56 has an very aggressive teast of Monte, its brings me back somehow my first time testing the monte sublime in 2008EL, very comfort with full smoke that you cant say NO to this cigar. n then after 70% is burned out, i can say its better than Cohiba Book collections, but compare to Cohiba GR, there are totally 2 types of Cohiba. So much different in teast, GR is very cohiba line up from head to the bottom, but this 56 behike takes you travel to other cubans teast and bring you back in the last few rounds at the very cohiba robusto feeling. but both 52 n 56 was in prefect conditions, and humidity was a little bit below average, so the buring of the cigar was prefectly fine for terribel weather in Shanghai ( been raining for over a week now) Thats all i can remember, Coz i feel very dizzy after finished these 2, maybe because of the flu i had few days ago, didnt get totally recoverd. Anyway those are great cigars, the reason why i am getting them so quickly, because i understand the cuban's first round of goods will never disappointed the smokers. Sorry for my terribel english, its the only few times that i wrote Cigar review in English, mostly in Chinese. Happy Smoking
Guest rob Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Great to read your review - I have not smoked one, but your descriptions are what I would expect them to taste like! Thanks.
thechenman Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Thanks fro the great reviews. Loved reading your perspective on the BHK 52 and 56.
Mr.T Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Thanks and nice job on the reviews....look forward to reading more.
khomeinist Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Thanks for your excellent review! I am probably going to skip the Behike launch but the presentation is undeniably stunning. Your review describes a complex smoke that will surely benefit from several years of aging.
cigcars Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 *Having just enjoyed my Behike No. 54, I'm dying to add my humble review: Upon taking them out of the packaging, there was the wonderful maple and raisins aroma of well-aged habana tobacco, even more so pronounced than usual. Upon clipping it, I like to draw on the unlit stick to gather the initial taste of the Spanish cedar they've been aging in. The initial taste of this Behike was of citrius, almost tangerine like flavor to the tongue...different! Upon lighting, the taste well-aged yet mellow. About 1/3rd the way through, there was the toasted bread baked from the hearth with love flavor to the back of the tongue. About 1/2 way through I was woozy and light-headed. Perfect! Just what I want in my more powerful smokes. Nearly 4/5th the way through I didn't want it to stop! I usually stop at that point, but the experience was so great, I went even further through the obvious build-up of heat and growing singe of the tongue. This was an awesome smoke! Should the price of these ever go down to more "everyday" cost, these will have a special place in my humidor. The Gran Reservas I can wait on. But these Behikes are very worth it as a collector's piece! I'm in Cigar Heaven!
dicko Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 This was an awesome smoke! Should the price of these ever go down to more "everyday" cost, these will have a special place in my humidor. Here's hoping! Excellent review!! I can nearly imagine what they taste like. So want to try!
