There are single banded Cohiba Piramides from jars and humidors but if you find these outside of their original packaging in certain parts of the world I would highly doubt their legitimacy. I have found many such cigars "here and there" and I would bet my ass they were frauds regardless the price.

The Habanos 2000, 30 year and 35 year were huge fraud models and they would have specialty but no second bands. I have some great fraud samples around here somewhere, I even bought some singles at nominal costs just for the sake of exposure. What you have come across are very likely knockoffs. Best, Ray

How about Fake Cohiba Sublimes at the store joined to El Ajibe in Havana. official Habanos store. Two years earlier ken and I watched in horror as the lady at the store gifted fake Trinidad "A" s (which were crap).

Desperate people do desperate things. I saw that fake box of Cohiba Sublimes being sold for 550 CUC. Full Government receipt. Beautiful box of cigars except that they were rolled in the previous month. The box reeked of young tobacco.

The war against fakes was lost a decade ago. Some of the best minds/operators in the industry are now entrenched in it.

they really were dreadful, those trinnies. bizarre as we have bought some excellent cigars from that store.

and remember the cohiba DC's that suddenly appeared in '06 i think, at the store over at el morro.
