bassman
I'm at the stage of my cigar smoking that I generally won't buy a box of regular production cigars that I haven't tried. But if it's a discontinued cigar, all bets are off. January 2009 I bought a box of Partagas TPCs from ENE 99. Never even heard of them let alone tried them. Guess what? Loved them. Better than the Shorts. Wound up buying five boxes. This January it's Partagas Charlottes. Again, never heard of them. But a box from FPG OLSU arrived today. They look fantastic. Taste? Check back in a couple weeks.
android
Interesting...never had one either and a quick review would be great.

They were great coronas , this way you'll have the chance to taste the old " EL Corojo" wrapper that isn't grown anymore Enjoy
Tampa1257
The Charlotte is a great cigar. Nice find, haven't seen them in a while. I do not think that you will be disappointed. If so, let me know.
beachcougar
This is the cigar I currently have the most boxes of in my inventory. You will not be disappointed. Very rich flavor full flavor. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
BobLobLaw
Very nice Bassman, I also picked up two boxes of the '98 Charlottes sight unseen based on my love of everything partagas and the rave reviews. Looking forward to firing the first one up after they sit for a month or so!
bassman
Certainly will let them sit a while. While fresh cigars usually are not bad "off the truck", aged stuff really does benefit from time to settle.
