  1. I had the same look in my eyes as that fish had when I was in Physics in college..
  2. Clams Casino pizza. Meatball pizza. Modern Apizza, New Haven, CT.
  3. Loving that Monte 2! Can't wait to smoke outside again..
  4. Just had a 54 the other night and felt the same way. It's what prompted this thread.
  5. Great to hear that I can start puffing away at most of these! Most of the ones mentioned are in my collection. I'll hold back on the Qd's for a couple of years.. I appreciate the insight
  6. I'm looking for some suggestions for CC's I can smoke soon. I'm willing to buy those which can be smoked both young and old, but I want something for now. I have two humidors which are largely graveyards for assorted singles of CC's and NC's that I tried over the years and didn't love. I also have about 30 boxes of recently purchased CC's which I can only stare at for awhile. This includes 4 boxes of aged ( and premium priced) auction boxes. I just bought some nudies for which I have high hopes that they will satisfy on their own, and help bridge the gap in time until my CC's are ready. Id like to hear from you about which CC's you believe are smokeable young. Thanks!
  7. I enjoy the RASCC, as well as the JL 1&2, I could throw Monte 4 &5's in there as well as the Punch Short. Almost all of the NC fail to hold my interest for an entire cigar. I have tried for years and stopped smoking completely as a result. The exception being Davidoffs, which are similarly priced to CC's.
  8. You'll make a small fortune, but you'd have to start with a large fortune.
  9. Long week. Hope this does the trick.
  10. I'm counting on the nudies to save the day. Otherwise I have always enjoyed AF Hemingway, most Davidoffs (especially selection 2 ), and the occasional Padron 1926 and 1964. Since most of my cc collection is young, I need them as much as placeholders while the CCs age as I do as a price hedge. Most of the NCs mentioned aren't really that cheap either.
  11. Haven't tried the two Tatuaje yet.
  12. Good call on the High Life, too!
  13. Like reading Google reviews for restaurants. " I eat, therefore I know everything about food."
  14. I've been looking forward to trying the nudies for awhile now. Appreciate the opportunity!!
  15. Really enjoying these lately. So satisfying!
  16. I use a Coolerater, and it functions very well. It is a Coleman 150 qt. It has maintained a steady 69 rh, and the temperature hasn't fallen below 65.5 F or above 70F so far. I use 2 Boveda 69% 320 g.packs, and they last a little over 6 months. It keeps 30-40 boxes very well. I also have 2 standard humidors for singles and to move cigars from cooler to being ready for smoking so I don't keep opening the cooler.
  17. Peated whiskeys (and a Glenfarcas 25 for good measure) courtesy of fellow FOH pal @fokker4me.
  18. PL Panatela from 2019. Good cheap and cheerful smoke while painting indoors.
  19. Feb 20 Punch Punch. Getting the job done for me today.
  20. Salmon caviar and black bread. Not the more expensive fresh stuff but the less expensive previously frozen product. By the kilo, it doesn't last a week in my house
