  1. We first had them June 2004 from memory. Bugger all around :-(
  2. Seriously....some of you guys have enough stock to be classified as wholesalers
  3. Topic thread should read "Rob Not Working On CC Site" Shoot me an e-mail and I will let you know what we have available. I WILL get accessories on the Cigar Czar site before long
  4. Not all machine mades are crap: Some of the better ones: Upmann Corona Major R&J No 2 Quintero Breva's (hand finished) Really just a matter of checking through the quality of the boxes on offer.
  5. You are hilarious! Yes....toilet flushes counter clockwise Yes...faster getting here because you are flying down hill. Any others
  6. One name mentioned and the thread is deleted and the member is out. This is about educating all of us. It would be nice if it wasn't necessary.
  7. » "Caught 'im runnin' off wiv me El Dorado, officer!" Assuming that is aftershave? ;-)
  8. There was an attack on our server late last week which shut us down for close to 18 hours. All should be now back on track
  9. Torch lighter (Blazer brand is great). Take your time. Don't letthe flame of he torch lighter touch the foot of the cigar. Toast the end from afar for a good 20-30 seconds.Turn the cigar ensureing the foot is completely and evenly toasted. Raise to mouth and draw in the cigar while still toasting the foot....WHOOSH! the end is alight in a massive eruption of flame which lasts no more than a 1/2 second. Draw once, draw twice and inspect the red ember at the foot ensuring even coverage...if there is a non red ember section....touch it up with the torch. Draw again and reinspect. Life is now in equilibrium
  10. Tampa is spot on I run humidity at between 65% to 68% RH. Preferred Temp range is 16 degrees. Run the test yourself. Take a Siglo 1 out of your humidor and leave it in a cool dry place for 24 hrs. Post your results ;-)
  11. Zippo's are a no go. I have used a Butane Torch to light cigars for years now. Most of our cigars here are enjoyed outdoors and there is generally a prevailing breeze. The secret to Torches is that the flame should never touch the cigar....Never Ever.
  12. Damn...I should have included "Quality" DOH!
  13. We get innundated with requests for information on suspect cigars that are in members private collections. We are happy to help out but also there are many informative members here that can also add their two cents worth. If you have a suspect cigar...or box of cigars, post a pic (cigars, bands, seals, box) and some details of your suspicions (+ box code) and let us make a best opinion comment. We may have to dig for some information which could take a little time...so be patient. At no time are we to discuss the vendor. Hence begins today our Suspect Cigar Forum which I hope will become in time a valuable resource to all members. Please note: Only Registered Members Have Access To This Forum.
  14. Well done Racer 47 You have chosen a great time as we are introducing a Frequent Poster Program later next week ;-)
  15. Tritto.....(an extension of ditto) One week is fine.....but long term storage will bleach wrappers (think of old chocolate) and destroy the cigar.
  16. .....always late Dragon Fess up....you would have had no idea :-D
  17. Firstly...does your wife have a sister? ;-) What a great evening. I sincerely hope that next time I am in your neck of the woods I can pop in for a meal. I will bring the cigars :-) Great review mate.
  18. I didn't keep one ......but I cannot afford it ;-)
  19. I was fortunate to try some early 90's Lusi's (92/93) which were not all to dissimilar with 98's that we had late last year. Perhaps age had mellowed them slightly. The 98 Lusi's we had available last year were some of the finest cigars that I have had. Ken can attest as I believe he is hording the last dozen or so from his box.....e-mail him :-D No need to thank me Ken
  20. Mel Baby. Ken has a box from the same box code. He is on a "winetasting" jaunt until Wednesday I believe but I will have him post a review.
  21. Welcome aboard  Purely 100% Habanos + fat bastids + fishing + women + Habanos + wine + whatever Ken is talking about any given day + drug lords in Columbia = a never dull read.
  22. Stop now I am having a surge of unnatural feelings
  23. It is the most fickle of all HAbanos IMHO. You really need to search for a great box of these and when you have one they are superb. It is a crapshoot though and I am not too sure why. Has been the case for at least 7 years.
  24. All suggestions taken into account. % of bodyweight seems appropriate. Will list new thread June 5 but all expressions of interest to be listed below. ...just trying to make the world a healthier place :-P
  25. I am lighting a cigar in clebration now :-D
