  1. Indeed. A very telling comment there. See how quickly society falls apart without its low skilled workers, that guy will be begging to pay them a decent wage. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  2. Political stunt from the self serving scum that have been ruling the UK for the past decade. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  3. It's not resentful it is an observation based on the reality of the situation. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  4. That country with a total ban also has access to Cubans at some of the cheapest prices in the world. (I always found that ironic). I wonder if demand will stay the same now that they have a very small dose of the high price a lot of the world has to pay for Cuban cigars. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  5. Cigars in cello look rubbish. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  6. Even Cuba won't produce a 70rg cigar, will they?!? Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  7. Time in the market beats timing the market as they say, but I guess that also depends on your age. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  8. Monte especial and trinny fundy are favourites of mine. I'll never pay those new price's for Trinidad though. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  9. UK, one of the cheaper shops. CoRo - £1220 / $1487 although most are £1500+ and all out of stock so could adjust higher yet. Monte 2 - £738 / $900 D4 - £607 / $740 The well known London shops are much pricier than this as well. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  10. I think it depends in the cigar, IMO dark wrappers don't suit hoyo or most Cubans at all, I actively avoid them. But for certain cigars like monte edmundo/petite Edmundo dark wrappers can be nice. But yeah, I don't seek them out. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  11. They need more bands on that, I can still see tobacco. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  12. Also the complete ban of online tobacco sales. Doubt this govt will adopt much of it though, apart from the duty increase. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  13. It's a massive jump but I think they'll still sell out. La Reina jumped up to £1400 a box anyway, I think they aim to kill the huge profits flippers are making. It'll be interesting to see if some of the more price friendly UK shops are this high. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  14. Certainly for Cohiba and Trinidad it isnt worth UK buyers risking a tax hit now better to just buy in the UK. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  15. Showing as £1625 or $2040 on Havana House. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  16. Sounds like someone trying to convince themselves smoking cigars is healthy. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  17. Part of the plan probably. It's 'smokefree 2030' in the UK. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  18. These are already new prices so I dont know if they will go up more. Most places are £60+ this was the cheapest, they used to be circa £800 a box in April, now £1200. The biggest and always most expensive retailers are showing out of stock. CoRo on JJfox is £79.
  19. CoRo - £50/$63 Siglo 1 - £21/$26 Media Siglo - £48/$60 These are the cheapest prices I can find now and online, prices in store will be higher. Most other Cubans are already extortionate anyway. Monte 2 is ~£30/$38 at the cheapest, seeing people on here moan at $460 for a box made me laugh. I don't know anyone who buys at retail prices in the UK anyway, except from smoking in the sampling lounges.
  20. Much better places in the UK outside of London where you don't pay the billionaires tax that you do in central London 😆
  21. I've never found the construction of Trinidad to be ahead of Monte myself.
  22. We dream of those prices here in the UK.
  23. I think you'll be waiting forever if you expect prices to fall. This will be like the wine world now, think top burgundy and bordeaux chateau, the prices only go one way. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  24. Its simply not true however, London and the south east subsidise the rest of the country. They literally pay you more than you put into the pot. Without London money you would be further down the hole than you realise really.
  25. Perfect for the Aussie market, they wouldnt know the bands are missing[emoji6] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
