  1. Nice cigar, amazing game!
  2. This is crazy to me- two boxes of 10 ct Punch Punch Tubos. Note the same box code but the different shade wood on the box. Well, both boxes had totally different wrappers, matching the shade of the box. The light ones are smooth as glass and the dark ones are oily and toothy as can be. All 10 in each box matched. I might be the first one to say this is my new favorite smoke without trying one. Can't wait for these, but will.
  3. HU Corona Majors. Big disparity in wrapper colors across the box which should make for a little variety in flavor too. All in all decent looking box.
  4. Next up is a nice box of either seconds of clearance HU Mag 50's from our host. Couple nicks but aroma is fantastic. After my first from another 10 ct box I bought elsewhere last week I'm already a fan. These are for our family trip to Cape Cod in August with my brother in law and brother.
  5. Came home from vacation to find a few packages! First up are some HdM Du Prince. Missed a box from here a few weeks back and scored with a great looking box with a few years on it from another vendor. Really looking forward to these after all the forum advice.
  6. 15 HdM Coronation. Huge flavor in a little package. Lots of life but won't last long!
  7. OPG DEC 14. Very good so far with Cuba Libre.
  8. OPG DEC 14. Very good so far with Cuba Libre.
  9. Another first from a box. Pretty good but expecting improvementioned after a little more rest. MUL JUL 15.
  10. Almost didn't bring this TOR SEP 15 8-9-8 on the trip buy so glad I did. My first of the box and stunning. Almost as good as the 15 BBF I had yesterday. Great couple of cigars and will be tough to keep for special occasions.
  11. New to me but growing in my collection. I've been removing them completely and keeping the tunes in a separate box with caps off. The few Ive smoked so far after one month in my humi in the tubest with caps off burned great in the first 1/2 then got bad leading me to believe it was because they had acclimated that far? I keep the tubes/cedar with a boveda so if I want to throw one in the tube for travel it's in the same condition.
  12. Contemplating how many tropical drinks and beers I had today and enjoying this 2013 RAS which is nearly perfect!
  13. Damn Bill, the music, the cigars and the drinks. We're bothers, man.
  14. We should hang. That song makes me belt 'em out! Fantastic pick.
  15. Montecristo No. 1. Orange dot. I'd chalk them up to HQ as they don't have the sheen and quite as dark wrappers as the PSP Montes I've bought but very nice and each one has great construction. Looking forward to these. Don't know why I don't smoke more Montes as every time I do I enjoy them immensely.
  16. Nothing quite as soothing as the smooth burn of some good bourbon.
  17. Weird taste this week- 78/79 Grateful Dead Conway Twitty 80/90's Hair Bands Ballads Bowie
  18. 03 HdMdD Naturally I had to sacrifice another one of the ugly ones, for science!
  19. Right on, some of our favorite spots! We rent a car, mainly so I can fish at night, but walk just about everywhere... sometimes from lunch at Southernmost Grill to afternoon drinks at Schooners Wharf Bar
  20. My wifes family has had a place in Truman Annex since the 80's. This will be my 6th or 7th trip. Love the place- the food, water, dive bars, architecture and vibe! Thanks for the offer! If I come up with anything over the next few days I'll p.m.
  21. 2011 HdM Epi No. 1. Aside from a tight draw, as good as it looks.
  22. I'll be watching 24:24 for a box of du Prince or Palmas Extras like a hawk this week! Thanks
  23. Will get astronomically better after being opened for a few days!
  24. I've enjoyed a few semi-aged HdM Epi 1's (2011), been intrigued by Epi 2's, but haven't had one I've really enjoyed all that much compared to the other HdM's or robustos I've had, and had a few Epicure Especiales that were good that I have to revisit. This week my doors were blown off by a '15 Coronation, ROTT as well as a '03 Des Dieux, ROTT. In the spirit of thin gauge and cheep-ish what should I go for next, in your opinion?
