cigaraholic Posted December 8, 2009 Share Posted December 8, 2009 RASCC TEB ABR08 Appearance: not the prettiest cigar in the world, a little bumpy and veiny. Construction: nice and solid, no soft spots. Aroma: earthy, leathery tobacco. Draw: smooth, unrestricted. Burn: went off slightly but corrected itself. Body: medium Time: 38 min. Drink: coffee Opening: beautiful carmel and spice flavors. 1/3: flavors went mute for a while then opened up again with roasted nuts, brown sugar and gingerbread. 2/3: got a little stronger with leather added to the brown spice, sweetness comes in and out. Final 1/3: rich leather and sweet brown spice that leaves a delicious flavor in the mouth. This must be my favorite tres petit corona because I have more boxes of this than any other brand. The fact that the flavors went mute for a while and the sweetness came and went shows me that this cigar need a few more years to come together. jkljkl Posted December 9, 2009 Share Posted December 9, 2009 Good review. I actually just picked up a box myself. Although you say they need more time, I hope my box looks as good as yours. Unless that's a dark camera shot, those Small Clubs look incredible. Dark and dusty. Just the way I like them. Give it a year and those cigars should turn to gold! That's a nice thought. I also have a box of early '08's that I haven't even broken the seals on yet, but your box looks so awesome, I will have to take a look! Many thanks for the great review!
