Hello all, it seems like I have found the Holy Grail of cigars and cigar forums. I stumbled upon the sight through chasing links. I believe that Trevor's sight finally lead me in this direction. I have been enjoying cigars for about 10 years now and use a wonderful tobacco shop about 20 miles from my house to pick up my favorite non-cubans. I had the opportunity to visit Cuba this past summer and did so legally which is difficult for a US citizen. I received special permission from the US Treasury dept and a special visa from the Cuban gov. While there, I believe that I only saw one or two people smoking cigars which surprised me. I did have the opportunity to sample several of Cuba's finest and have grown accustomed to them. This week I have been working on the following: Cohiba Espléndidos (just 1, I splurged), a Cuaba Salomónes, a Hoyo de Monterrey Double Coronas, and a Partagas Série P No. 2 Tubos. These supplemented some of my local favorites. I am actually cigar poor currently, nevertheless, I look forward to spending some money with the Czars.

Welcome to FOH. You are right...this is the Holy Grail of Cuban cigar forums. I envy your trip to Cuba. Hopefully one day I'll get my ass out there...sooner rather than later. You've had some great cigars this week. Just a word of warning...the Czar crew is particularly adept at seperating you from your money. The plus side is that you are at least left with some primo Cuban smokes.
