olotti Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 How would u rank these by their recent production: BBF, BRC, PSP2, PSD4, and party898 or even the EPI 2,however I have no real experience with this cigar
perfectform Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 PSD4 BBF 898V PSP2 BRC Only had 1 Epi 2 so I can't comment on those, though I've heard they are great. Good luck!
Buch0 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 1. PSD4 2. BBF 3. 898V 4. PSP2 5. BRC I would have usually put the BBF ahead of the PSD4 although I have had one or two recently that have had a real tight draw, making them virtually unsmokeable by the last third which has been disappointing.
Rogers72 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 898V BBF EPI #2 PSD4 The last BRC's I had were excellent but were 06.
PigFish Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 '06 Boli RC and V898 are to give a ******** for. '07 BBF is fantastic, maybe half a ********. The '07 La Punta fits in the line above even though you did not ask. I don't smoke the others.
El Presidente Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 How would u rank these by their recent production: BBF, BRC, PSP2, PSD4, and party898 or even the EPI 2,however I have no real experience with this cigar To be honest they have all been remarkably consistent with perhaps the exception of the P2 and D4 which can vary significantly between boxes. BBF (07) and HDM Epi 2 (08) have been excellent. The Epi 2 a real star. yesterday I had a TEB March 08 PSP2 which is as good a pirimide as I have had in a long while. I probably prefer as a rule the 07 898 V over the 08's but there's bugger all in it. Just get a great box or a great singles example. BRC have been good at worst, brilliant at best (07 & 08)
bassman Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Outside of the 898V, I don't buy any of those mentioned. Had my first 07 898V yesterday & it was very nice. Now here's a curve for you. DIC 08 Quay D'Orsay Imperiales are VERY impressive. These are not mild cigars.
