BKilla13 Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Okay so..................(in a whisper so nobody hears me) are you supposed to inhale these things??? But seriously I have been smoking cigarettes (among other things) for more than half my life (I am 27). Smoking things without inhaling will seem strange to say the least. So what are you "supposed" to do? Do you inhale a little every now and then or all the time or never at all? Thanks for not throwing stuff at me.
sloth Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 No, you are not suppose to inhale. I didn't smoke cigarettes before smoking cigars, so this seems to be an odd problem to me, yet a common problem the cigarette inhaler seems to go through. The best way I can tell a person to get over this is to say: "Have you ever sip a drink through a straw? You don't choke on it everytime do you?"
smk819 Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 The closesest thing to inhaling you should do is exhale some of the smoke out your nose. Taking it into your lungs is a no no.
Jesuscookies Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Suck it up like you just hit a bong load my friend. Let us know how it works out for you.
Froggy Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Jesuscookies is right. Cigar smoke is meant to be inhaled deeply in order to fully appreciate all the nuances of flavors and enjoy the delicacies of a nicotine fix. All true smokers will tell you the same, of course...
thechenman Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Do not inhale. First of all it can be incredibly painful...second, obvioulsy it is not good for your lungs. Take in the smoke, let it roll around you mouth, then blow it out...
BigGuns Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 I wouldn't worry too much about it. Inhale a couple times. I'm sure after a few, it will be real easy for you to not inhale again - the body learns quick.
b0rderman Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 my cigarette smoker buddies always have to have a cigarette either during or right after a cigar because it is too weird for them not to inhale and they need to fulfill that need
semery74 Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 my cigarette smoker buddies always have to have a cigarette either during or right after a cigar because it is too weird for them not to inhale and they need to fulfill that need Almost like a fish out of water! I'm an ex-cigarette smoker and glad it's far behind me. Cigar smoke is definitely too thick to inhale directly, at least for me. I find the best way to enjoy a cigar is to draw on it gently, filling your mouth with smoke, then with your mouth closed, exhale out your nose. I consume 95% of a cigar this way, the rest probably exit through my lips and only a minor percentage gets inhaled.
Buch0 Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Haha I will never forget the first and ONLY time I inhaled on a cigar.. It was a RyJ tubo outside of a gloria jeans coffee shop and I was virtually on the floor in minutes.. Thank god for the hungry jacks toilet block that was next door ._.
Ken Gargett Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 never had a cigarette in my life so wouldn't know how to inhale.
BKilla13 Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 Sweet thanks for the answers. Now lets see how many of my friends inhale these things when I hand them out at my wedding.............should I tell them???????
Buch0 Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Let them find our for themselves, I am sure some of the cigarette smokers with inhale even if you advise against it
Fuzz AI Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 No matter how many times you warn a friend not to inhale, they always do. Went to a Buck's party many years ago, back in the days when you could smoke indoors. Several stick were handed out with the stern warning, "Do not inhale". One ciggie smoker just kept inhaling deeply, smoking the stick nice and hot, and nubbing it in 30 minutes. It was quite enjoyable watching him first go slightly red, then turn a lovely shade of green, then ghostly white, and finally back to green as he dashed off to the toilets! To this day, we still fondly remember his chundering with the phrase, "That's not how you make porridge!"
habone Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Some times I'll take a cigar and grind it up then pack up the pipe, bong, whatever. If I smoke it the regular way I always pull out the roach clips towards the end of it... thats where the best draws are, but I never inhale. BrutustheBuckeye and Jesuscookies they inhale because they are so fried and so used to taking huges rips off the "mary jane" they know no other way. They put Cheech and Chong to shame. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Lol...
brutusthebuckeye Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 habone has like 3 chicklits left in his grill from the heavy meth use.....don't listen to anything he says....unless it's about Jesuscookies..
