Fuzz Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I wonder why FOH keeps getting blocked? Is it because they think it is a Cuban website? Or did you send a plugged cigar to the CEO?
Northshore04 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I think the problem isn't with aol because I have an aol address and get all your emails. I think the problem has to do with the spam filter setting on the individual accounts.
buster Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 This is from comcast: http://customer.comcast.com/Pages/FAQViewe...6f-9b0e78265e3c "What can I do if somebody receives an error message when trying to send an email to my Comcast.net email address and how do they get unblocked? If email is unable to be delivered to a Comcast.net email address, it is possible that the sender's email provider is blocked as an anti-spam precaution for Comcast customers. The error message the sender receives contains a URL. This URL links to an FAQ with valuable information regarding the issue and steps necessary to request removal. Email administrators can submit the blocked IP address to the Comcast Security Assurance department to determine if the IP address is eligible for removal by completing the Blocked Provider Request Form. Requests submitted through this form are reviewed on a 24/7 basis" If the link in the message above does not work, here is their "Blocked Provider Request Form" http://www.comcastsupport.com/Forms/NET/blockedprovider.asp And don't forget when you are dealing w/ them: they are idiots and clowns Rick
buster Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Lisa and Co. or anyone else, Does anyone have the IP address for clubczar.com email? I am getting confusing results in the headers of past emails and from ip lookup websites. The comcast form in the above post can be filled out by the blocked party, but there is a dropdown option to have it filled out by individual comcast subscribers. Couldn't hurt if we get lots to fill it out. Rick
Shelby07 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Just got off the phone with Comcast. The tech was helpful but very limited in what he could access. They will have a higher level tech contact me within 2 business days. He said that mail could get blocked if they detect a virus or if there is a pattern of spam. Not sure what would constitute spam, but you may want to run a virus scan on your PC.
Shelby07 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 ...you may want to run a virus scan on your PC. I got it! - Find out who's been hitting the porn sites late at night when you're not there!
smk819 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Lisa, I added you to my safe senders list. Send me an e-mail to see if that gets it through.
El Presidente Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Thanks Fella's Lisa will test out upon her return Monday. AOL and Comcast are serial offenders. There was a great article where AOL blocked a newsletter from an AOL subsidiary company
gostgost Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Hi Lisa, It's been a while hope that all is well with you. I've never had any trouble getting your emails, it has to be the comcast and aol user accounts and their security settings. Dave
