fantastic and many thanks.

i've been reading the reviews, which sounded great, and that closet boss fan smithy has been sending me stuff.

we have a vid session this arvo on the balcony. i think we need some bruce for the background.

i understand that bruce's son played drums with him for the first time.

If you're a Boss fan this video is a must. If you're not a boss fan you will still enjoy the energy. This is when he was on top of the world at his best. Watch it until the end... last 2 minutes are unreal.

Enjoy.

Max's son on drums Bruce's son played guitar on several songs, Bruce also played about 3 songs with Phish on Sunday night but I didn't stick around for that show.

Can't see the pictures for some reason, but I expect it is. Interesting article on the issue:

Wish Bruce & the E-Street Band would be coming over this side of the world, but alas I doubt they'll ever come here again :tantrum:

they've been the three times (twice with the e street and once solo - possibly more solo when i was away). i think you are right. i doubt we'll ever see them again. the last tour was fantastic but not the numbers they expected in melbourne (he did the most fantastic version of backstreets - and it was the very day that the invasion into iraq was declared and so he was a grumpy person. started with 'war') and a lot of stage and electrical problems in sydney (he did two concerts in brizzy - never forget as he played jungleland - amazing.

then the idiot promoter, who had cocked things up with venue changes all so forth apparently contacted bruce and wanted him to make up all the money the promoter lost. so i think we have fat chance.

I guess it's hard for him to build up a large following if it goes 15-20 years between tours, like it seems to have done here. I think he's only visited Australia in 85, 97(?) & 03. In my native Sweden he's done about 13-14 tours since 1975 and sells out stadiums as quickly as AC/DC does here. Just the last 10 years he's been there in 99, 03, 05, 07, 08 & 09 - this is a bit different than his frequency here :) .

defintely 85 and 03, both with the e street band. the other time was solo and i couldn't give you a year but would have been around then.

I'll be watching him at the Meadowlands this year. Haven't missed one yet.
