Stahlberg Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 A student in Europe from an online course I did was so grateful he just had to send me a gift, I dropped a hint that I liked cuban cigars, and he came back with this photo, of not one but four. Yay! I haven't received them yet, he sent me the photo so I would be able to tell which one is which when the package arrives (without the labels, ahem). Maybe someone can tell me something interesting about one or more of these cigars? I don't really know these very well. When I've smoked them I'll give my impression, but that might be a while. edit: Sorry I don't know dates and factory numbers, I don't think he took note of that when he bought them. I would assume that they're not aged in any way.
Ginseng Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Looks like a Bolivar Gold Medal, Ramon Allones Allones Specially Selected, Romeo y Julieta Short Churchills, Quintero y Hermano Londres Extra. Nice gift pack! Wilkey
El Presidente Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Lovely and thoughtful gift package. The Quintero is straight Cuban tobacco flavour, medium bodied. Keep that one as a fishing cigar. I normally put a Cohiba band on them and give them to Ken

stargazer14 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Jimmy, tell us how you REALLY feel about the Quintero... Nice gift, even the one Jimmy doesnt like. That is actually a good one to smoke first, will make you love the others! I have a box of those and am starting to enjoy them, there are not really that bad, folks just like to make fun of them. I call it my 'water skiing' cigar. I'd take that package any day!
jquest63 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 1-3: Very enjoyable, 4: No experience with Smoke Em in Good Health
