Aristocrat Humidor Question

I live in Southern California and for most of the summer we get about 90-100 deg weather. I was wondering for those in similar situations, is it okay for the Aristocrat to run it's cooling device for over 80% of the day? Will it burn out if it has to run too much?

I have a/c I just don't want to run it everyday all day during the summer including nights. I actually bought a portable a/c unit this morning for the room as it's also my office and working yesterday all day in 88 deg temp wasn't fun.
