KB24 Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 They do come in 5x3 but I have never bought them. As for cello? Usually individually boxed but no cello. No this box has 5 in them and says "5" on the outside of the box. And each is individually wrapped in celo. Just a question and no worries as they weren't purchased but received as a gift. I just want my Dad (non-smoker) to be able to tell the guy thanks for the fakes.

He can still say that as it is the thought that counts, right?
jeromeroselli Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Im pretty sure no hand rolled habanos come in celo, and no Esplendidos come in a fiver.
rckymtn22 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 If they did come in a 5 pack they would be in individual boxes
El Presidente Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 3packs. Each in an individual cardboard box. No Cello
asmith Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 did we sell them... If we didn't see them then they are fakes!
KB24 Posted April 18, 2009 Author Posted April 18, 2009 I actually saw the box in person last night and what a joke. The box had a cut out window near the top so you could see the bands on the cigars. Each individual cigar wrapped in cello, and the "Republica De Cuba" band on the box wasn't even a band, it was just part of the box. My Dad doesn't know **** about cigars and he is the most trustworthy person alive and he says to me, "Pat, the guy told me he got them in Mexico from his brother-in-law!" Love you Dad. -Patrick p.s. again, they were gifted not purchased
zuma Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Well, I hope they smoke somewhat well... A while back, a good mate gifted me a couple of Cohiba Robustos that he'd bought in Nicaragua ($5 for a 5s pack - sticks wrapped in cello). Naturally they did not smoke like CoRos, but luckily - and surprisingly - we found them to be better than some popular NCs available in Oz...
Jimmy2 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Cuban Cigar have used cello for many years more years ago than now. From MM to handmades also I am almost sure some Cohibas used them many years ago in there dress boxes. Today cello is rarely used I think Patagas Chicos still use cello. I have some pre Castros that have cello H.Upmann and La Corona..
