Shelby07 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Just got back from Ireland and London on Tuesday. We met up with Ryan (Andy) and his wife Nicola the first night we were there and had a great time. Pauline and I brought 2 friends with us and, of course they were giving me a raft of s..t about my "internet date" but afterward they all thought it was one of the nicest evenings of the trip. Andy was very generous and brought along some very nice cigars to gift to me, and of course he wouldn't let me pay for any of the drinks. We all sat for several hours and enjoyed each others company. My buddy Rick got some pics, so I'll add a couple when I get them. Harryleech had sent a PM after we left and I didn't pick it up until after we left Dublin, but 'm looking forward to meeting up with him and Andy the next time we're in Dublin. Gotta love the internet!

Guest rob Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Sounds like a great time was had by all! Ten years ago I wouldn't have believed it.... but I have made some great friends off the 'net as well. People from all over the world who have opened their homes up to me. Very special times.
Ryan Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Hi Mark, I just saw this thread now, you're too kind. I didn't buy all the drinks! Also you failed to mention that you had a present of an '05 Upmann Mag 50 for me. It was great fun meeting you all. Nicola and I had a great night. We must have a repeat when you're over again.
El Presidente Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 The real joy of cigars is the people you meet
