maverickdrinker Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Thought I would just share some pics or recent editions to the humidor..
shrink Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 It just so happens that I have that boxcode (RPO LL00) and I love 'em. Some of my favorite RS No. 11's. Smooth, on the lighter side of medium bodied, but showing a classic Punch fruity profile with a sweet tangy finish. As for the Bolivar RE Canada, I have smoked several (courtesy of jdbrown), and tastewise I'll put 'em up against any Bolivar RE, including the Libertadores. Marvelously flavorful, why in the hell didn't they make these longer?
El Presidente Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I really do rate the Bolivar Simones. They got them right. Unique flavour profile which balances depth and complexity. Aged Punch RS 11 are just a gem of a cigar. Shrink nailed the flavour profile.
maverickdrinker Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 Had one of my bolivar CDN RE simones today. What a little treasure. Started off strong and then became really complex. The only real issue that I had was that this cigar is too short. Would love to have this in a sublime size....
anacostiakat Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Another one of these crappy sizes. Disappointing. . .
