Michael Jordan Cigar Pics

» He is a very nice guy..very down to Earth...Loves his Cigars, and loves

» Cuban Cigars even more........

He was the greatest basketball player of all time, but he was most definitely NOT a nice guy. He psychologically abused many of his teammates, cheated on his wife like it was his job, had a serious gambling problem (his first "retirement" was not by choice). One of the conditions of he and his former wife's reconciliations (before they ultimately got divorced) was that, when she called him when he was in hotels travelling for games, that he had to take her phone calls. She had to negotiate for him to take her phone calls.

MJ was the best basketball player, and one of the top three athletes, I will ever see in my lifetime. I never looked for him to be any more than that, and, in my eyes, he never was.

He was shown a few different times Saturday sitting on a step and along a fence smoking a cigar. They commentator actually commented and Jordan's love of cigars. I also read that one of the only requests that Miguel Angel Jimenez had for the weekend was a box of Cohibas, which they showed him smoking Saturday afternoon after his round was over.

1. I think at the end of the day his teammates were ok with the way he went about doing things and getting the job done. I don't think any of them will tell their grand kids about how MJ yelled at them 1 day but instead talk of their experiences playing along side the greatest to ever lace em up.

2. What NBA player doesn't cheat on his wife? Not saying it's ok but don't knock him for that.

3. I know MJ loved to gamble and place large bets are some absurd thing but I don't think he ever had a "serious" problem as I don't think his gambling ever put him or his family or teammates in any kind of negative physical or financial situations.

4. Not sure I believe the phone calls statement as I am not sure where you got this information.

To each his own though. Just my opinions.

Well, let me take the opportunity to say the guy was a great athlete, but a class A jackass. Bet big and not pay is Jordan's way....don't play golf with him......:-(
