Guest Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 » A small voice inside my head called out, 'Reach out, reach out and touch » this person!' Its beauty like this that makes me think there may in fact be a God.
gostgost Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Oh Lord have mercy on me for I'm about to sin...........................
brooklyn Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 As an Irish-American,Jesuit educated Catholic, this is a perfect example of why I like my faith hot and handy!
Colt45 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Lately, there seems to be a theme to your posts - the women's beach volleyball, and now this. Yet somehow, I'm still not convinced.........

greenpimp Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 » Lately, there seems to be a theme to your posts - the women's beach » volleyball, and now this. The theme is da butt. I think he's trying to convince himself. You know, both men and women have 'em. If they don't turn around and he closes his eyes...it could work. He could play for the other team.
Colt45 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Tampa, GP - I really want to believe...... But I can't help but feel it's all a mirage, and that when I go to take a drink from the oasis, I'll end up swallowing a handful of sand.....

Ken Gargett Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 i should state for the record i am not catholic but after this, i might convert (and yes, i assume i have again broken more of the forum rules but there should be exceptions). Perils of a Catholic Upbringing As I walked down the busy street, knowing I was late for Mass, my eye fell upon one of those unfortunate, homeless tramps that are found everywhere these days. Some people turned to stare. Others quickly looked away as if the sight would somehow contaminate them. Recalling my old priest, Father Mike, who always admonished me to 'care for the sick, feed the hungry and clothe the naked,' I was moved by some powerful inner urge to reach out to this unfortunate person. Wearing what can only be described as rags, carrying every worldly possession in two plastic bags, my heart was touched by this person's condition. Yes, where some people saw only rags, I saw a true, hidden beauty. A small voice inside my head called out, 'Reach out, reach out and touch this person!' > > > > So I did.......
