Right then: I have been on holiday for a while, and now, to great fanfare, celebration and dancing in the streets of my home country I have returned. But it seems not everything is as I left it. Now when I try to access friendsofhabanos.com I am asked to download a suspicious looking file, and can't get onto the main site. What new witchcraft is this? Is it something to do with the planned upgrade to the forums? I saved it on my computer but the same thing happens when I try again.

I thought it was just me that Rob hated!! I keep getting that message and have to put "/board.php" on the end of the address in order to get on here.

You are not alone, I am only able to access the FOH Forum through the main web site of Cigar Czar. We are still waiting the new Forum, but this downloading of a file does not make sense to me, yet it happens every time I try to get on FOH.

Rob, what's the deal?

I have the same problem and have to go to http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/board.php to get to the site then go to login. Been happening for a week now. This is not the only site I have been having problems with either.

No such problem here , perhaps you've just got a virus from downloading all that porn. :lol2:

Me too! Also, does the porn surfing really affect it? I hope not! :-D

Hi

Guys

I'm looking at the site as stated above. I downloaded the file, and took it apart, and review the binary code. It looks like the main index page might be corrupted. Therefore when you hit the site IE, or the browser you are using does not know what to do with it. I'm not sure why it try's to download....I going to use fiddler and see what I find.

If you hit this page the redirection is working on the .com, and it is working for....www.friendsofhabanos.com/index.php

So my above statement is incorrect...

It loos like this might be the problem...I would have to guess the issue is on the Apache server that is hosting the site on the root site settings, and how it handle the .com default header....when you land on the .com site it should bring up the index, and then redirect.

Out put:

Server: Apache/1.3.41 (Unix) mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.31 OpenSSL/0.9.7a

I'm getting a 304 on the page:

Apache error code listed below:

Redirection 3xx

300 Multiple Choices

301 Moved Permanently

302 Moved Temporarily

303 See Other

304 Not Modified

305 Use Proxy

Here is the redirect on the site:

I think the site might be load balance on two web servers maybe. Perhaps we might be hitting the one with issues. try to hit the site via .com.

Same problem I've been having for a week or so. Even I I attempt to connect to friendsofhabanos.com via a search engine, the problem is still there. I have been going through the czar site as well.
