A Question ...

This evening I absentmindedly noticed that almost all of the SBN boxes I have carry what appears to be two small nail holes in the lid, one in the upper left corner and one in the lower right. (I found two that did'nt) Does anyone know how they get there? I've never seen a box with the tiny nails there, only the holes, perhaps they are sealed this way before final packaging and inspection? Anyone else observe these holes in their SBNs?

I happen to notice this as well & my guess would be this is how they tack the lid in the correct position while attaching the hinges.

Good grief, I should have thought of that, it makes good sense. I went back and looked at the two that I thought did'nt have holes, and they are reversed, so under the labeling.
