rob in for tough week

just occasionally (okay, far more than just occasionally), our glorious leader does something unbelievably dumb.

al's fabulous wedding provided a perfect example (okay, i'll accept that my involvement with said event may not have been exemplary - al, worst map ever - but i'll concede a hopeless sense of direction, but at least i made the reception).

rob was, as usual, taking all sorts of completely inappropriate photos - you know the sort, the ones that end up on the forum of me in completely innocent positions but perverted by rob 'photoshop' ayala or his evil henchman (no names, colt) into something that twists the truth.

then, he has ducked to the gents at one stage so i removed the battery from his camera (a certain person who shall definitely remain nameless suggested i also remove the memory card thingee). both were given to lisa to hide. rob returns and cannot work out why his camera would not work.

i could see lisa iscariot was about to cave and spill the beans so when rob and i ducked out to see if we could find somewhere for a cigar - we couldn't - i got in first and dobbed (a moment of shame but i could see where things would go), telling rob that lisa had done the entire heinous deed solo. i can't repeat here what rob then said about lisa - i was shocked, shocked!! - but to be honest, i was somewhat incredulous that rob believed me in the first place.

we went back in and j'accuse!! rob appropriately scolds lisa. she denies all and says that i did it.

now, have a think about this. who would you believe? lisa or me? not even i would believe me ahead of lisa. rob did. he would not believe lisa. eventually all came to light (i think i gave myself a hernia laughing) but i think it fair to say that the lack of trust rob showed in his so capable and so indispensible assistant is going to mean a tough week for the prez, or a hefty pay rise.

While Lise may certainly deserve a pay raise, I just can not believe that Rob would take your word over Lise. Thats the issue with the story Ken, thats the unbelieveable part, better luck next time.;-)

tampa, i agree completely. unbelievable. and yet there he was, not even drunk. ask lisa if you don't believe it, though in warning, it is not her favourite topic.

Needless to say Ken all your cigars are going to have very very small and numerous pin pricks from now on, Rob is purchasing me a more expensive card and a bigger pay rise and next time Warren you will need to throw something at that bimbo who called me Rob's secretary ........
