n2advnture Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 » LOL Mark! I guess that one wasn't on FOH (Rob told me at dinner in Vegas) but it was a funny story none-the-less :-D .

Ken Gargett Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 » 25) RA and KG argue like Felix and Oscar of the odd couple, or » Lemmon and Matthau of grumpy old men, or the way I look at it, » Robin Williams and Nathan Lane of the bird cage. » first, of course, i could not disagree more with any assessment that links me in any possible way, with someone who would claim his son's fish for his own vain attempt at glory. secondly, he is definitely a felix, lemmon, lane character. that, however, does not mean that any of the others have any resemblance to me whatsoever, though i always rather liked oscar.
havanaclub7 Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 29. Cigar Czar has amazing sales and relatively frequently at that. Wait for the big sale before buying large quantities or spendy smokes! 30. Lisa is the only one who works at Czar House. The rest are just window dressing.
crazypoet Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 [31] Be nice to Lisa - she has to work for Rob! :-D
El Presidente Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Ken...feel free to post your Giant Trevally pics from last week :-D On my 8 weight Sage
Ken Gargett Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 » Ken...feel free to post your Giant Trevally pics from last week :-D » » On my 8 weight Sage i thought that was the 'i let my son fish'. taking the credit for fish your son caught? is there no end to the perfidiousness? i would struggle to expect that from even a kiwi! still, as they say in the classics, that is not a fish (all right, it is okay but even my unco mate gus managed bigger - a lot bigger - on his 8 sage and even you can fish better than him), THIS IS A FISH. (afctually, two fish and yes, i know you have seen it but you were the one that poked the bear). the hits just keep coming... ps, as you well know from our discussions, there are bugger all photos of me with fish, and yes, caught nothing of immense size, as bloody difficult to take a photo when knee deep in the ocean with a grumpy fish and no one within cooee.
Colt45 Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 » secondly, he is definitely a felix, lemmon, lane character. That might be hard to argue with.... » »
demiurgic Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Ken...feel free to post your Giant Trevally pics from last week :-D On my 8 weight Sage Just found this while cruising the forums and get an education about Habanos and FOH. What a great pic!! Which hook did you use ? Squid Bait? Did you skin, debone and fillet it by any chance? Pacific Yellow Fin Tuna (known as 'AHI here) is our top fish to eat here in Hawai'i, raw of course, although a quick sear is cherry as well~ I just filleted out one bigger than the one you caught (I bought mine unfortunately) and It made perfect Sushi 2 nights ago!

demiurgic Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 LOL, tough fishing crowd. You guys should see the reef fishing by where I live, have caught a record 7 edible reef fish species in one afternoon (one VERY lucky afternoon, I might add). I'll try and get pics sometime if you're nicer to me. good review on that Monte E Ken. Look forward to allocating my funds to other worthier smokes. thanks!
DocRKS Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 It is indeed possible to have a Cigar Board without the presence of Flamers, Trolls and Crooks.....
