Taste changes

I put Bolivar PC in a box of Monte No.4 for storage reason. After several monthes, The bolivar's taste changes like Monte and the monte changes like Bolivar. I'm smoking the monte now and feel earthyness like bolivar in it. Why?

No answer to it Yossie. It shouldn't be the case. In my home desktop I have essentially Cohiba Siglo II and La Gloria Cubana Tainos all mixed together. No cross pollenation has occured ;-)

That's not possible, Yoshie. The blend of the cigars is different, ie leaves from different regions in the cigar, changing the taste. Unless someone switched the bands, it's not possible.

The power of suggestion and expectation are potent indeed. It can work some strange effects on us even if we are not consciously aware of it. I'm with Rob and Claudius in saying that this is highly unlikely at the least.
