El Presidente
Topic of discussion this afternoon. The French rule that the age of a woman to best suit a man is 1/2 the mans age + 7. That would make mine 28. I couldn't find a single issue on which to debunk the formulae
Cohiba007
That means I should be dating a 26 year old and she is only 24. The French are always a little off

Rogers72
The real gem in this philosophy is that you could only keep the same girl around for 1-2 years before trading in on a slightly younger model.
smokum
I think its a great rule of thumb. That would make my perfect mate 33. I like an older woman. 36 is perfect.

Shelby07
When my wife turned 40 I told her I was going to trade her in for 2 20's. She told me I wasn't wired for 220.
Tampa1257
OK, So now I am in search of a 32 year old with a big firm large chest that bounces nicly while jogging along the beach in her tiny Bikini! :-D

I am really interested to know how these things develop. Whether it is really is a common view in France or not(?). Some one I know has recently traded in his loyal wife of 25 years. He cheated on her for 9 months and then finally broke all ties (with his children as well), but in a cynical way I always thought if you are going to do the dirty, and you are 57 odd, don't go for 47, trade in younger. By applying the French rule he would be looking at a sweet 35.5 year old!

The French rule that the age of a woman » to best suit a man is 1/2 the mans age + 7. » » That would make mine 28. » » I couldn't find a single issue on which to debunk the formulae » Damn it. I applied the wrong rule, no wonder it went sour: Law of Diminishing Returns Sometimes referred to as variable factor proportions, law of diminishing returns states that as equal quantities of one variable factor are increased, while other factor inputs remain constant, ceteris paribus, a point is reached beyond which the addition of one more unit of the variable factor will result in a diminishing rate of return and the marginal physical product will fall. That's why the physical product fell.:-D
