Yes Monday the 8th of June and the country has a Public Holiday celebrating the Queens Birthday.

Is it actually the Queens Birthday?......no.

Do we actually consider her our Queen in any meaningfull way?......no.

Hey but no problem.....lets shut down a one Trillion Dollar economy for the day and have a fricken long weeknd!!!!!

I raised withthe Czar team last week to forgo this holiday idiocy. Lets work the Monday! We have an international business and each member of the team bags the royal family mercilessly

so let us not pander to this luncay! Lets pull together and work the Monday! Lets set a new standard of commitment and efficiency! Lets draw a line in the sand and say NO to dumb public holidays and only honour those public holidays whichhave meaning and deserve respect!

I looked at their glazed eyes.....open mouths....and listened to the sound of crickets chirping.

idk, public holidays can be good and bad. i'm currently working in bars and this weekend was really quite good. that said though, melbourne cup weekend was horrible here, when you'd expect it to be good. guess everyone got pissed at the races and were too wrecked to keep going into the night! oh well...

Rob - easy solution...just ramp up the 'KPIs' for tuesday. Coercion and intimidation are to be used only as a lsat resort!

its all about the folded paper ken, mine, bought from some crappy american company (whose site disappeared like 2 days after i put my credit card details in, although the woman stayed in contact and was good to me) didn't seal at the front properly and i chocked it out with "reflex"... now it holds at a nice 65% humidity, but i think this is also courtesy of my puckifier (thanks cigar-czar ).

it also didn't come with the tray it was meant to, but i've given up on that... ****ers!

I think Kevin 07 wants to be the queen as well. He's out there strutting the world stage and acting like he's the saviour of the world.
