anacostiakat
I picked up a couple bottles at my local beverage purveyor this morning. Cracked a bottle this evening. Maybe I am not a great Cab love or whatever but I found the bottle had a lot of berries an tannins but not enough body for me. Now grant you it weighted in at a doublesaw USD so maybe I wa expecting more.
Ken Gargett
coonawarra cab never really a huge wine. jim barry are clare makers who have expanded. problem for australia is that so many people overseas try the big bruisers from barossa and mclaren vale and expect all our wines along the same line (not saying that specifically here). Good point and observation. I look for more body in general at lowest price I can get. It was an enjoyable bottle at that price. Just a stretch on my part. I certainly intend on drinking the other one. Makes a good starter. . . :-P
