Great review, love the photos and I hate when I drop ash on myself. I just love this cigar and I need to reach for it more often.

Excellent review of an excellent cigar ;-)

Ken would have liked to have seen a photo of your bare torso.

Diplomaticos #4

OEB MAY06

Stored at RH 65-66%

Drink: Water (its working day).

Construction: Medium chocolate brown. Rough but beautiful construction.

Predraw: Perfect. Not to loose nor to tight. Grassy taste.

1/3: First draw after lighting. Immediately an abundance of tobacco taste. This little bugger opens up with the whole infantry. Normal smoke. Not to thin but it could always be thicker. Dry complex tobacco taste. Sweet cream emerging between the draws. Rough but even burn. Its strong! Great taste!!

2/3: More tobacco taste now with some cedar wood. Still Great!! The ash has formed a tip (why?). Turns from strong to sweet cedar. Smoke getting thicker. Yeah!! Sweet tobacco on my lips. Burn still rough but even. Back to strong tobacco again.

3/3: Ouch!! The ash fell on my bare stommach!! Bloody h*ll!! Oh well. Its a great smoke anyway. Strong tobacco now with some floral influence. Thick smoke. A small crack has emerged half an centimeter from the burn. Ash a little flaky. Now its floral tobacco taste. Still good though. Oh! Getting stronger again with dry tobacco taste. More floral. Can taste that its still a little young.

Finale: Thin smoke. It passes out. Relight. Only grass taste now. Lets it die with dignity.

Overall score: 88/100

Great taste with great value.
