I will break my coronas box this week to try one, POS Feb06 I think.

Beautiful day but rain coming in. Chose this Boli Corona to enjoy on the front porch with ice water. I looked forward to this corona. Beautiful wrapper with a slight crack in the foot but should be ok. Very firm cigar with a bit of weight to it but felt a slight not at the band.Bunch seemed fairly compact too.. Smell at cold was of sweet barnyard whatever that is.

Clipped the cap and revved her up

1/3-First few draws showed a sweet cedar with some creamy roasted nuts thrown in. Smoke volume is poor and its pissing me off. Drw is just a bit tight and not to my liking. Hoping it will open up.

2/3 -Draw seemed to open a slight amount but still an "airy" low volume draw. I figured this was going to be a write off for me. Flavors were of paprika and cedar with some hints of creamcheese although very muted due to the draw.

3/3 - Draw worsens and its just an airy,low smoke volume muted flavered cigar. Every now and then I would get a good burst of flavors so I soldiered on but in the end it was too much work for too little enjoyment. The wrapper began to undress itself too. I worked hard to get it to this point and threw in the towel

Oh and Smokum---good review. I've had hit and miss luck with the Boli Corona. And I love the size, as well as the marca.

Thanks for the review Smokum. I have SVF 12-05 and have had one plugged, one just right (review posted) and one that was a bit loose! Wonder if communism may foster inconsistency in quality :-|
