I've tried it yesterday afternoon after a Champagne Brunch ... To make it short, it is a salomones I so 57x184, like Cuaba Salomones. Construction is perfect, this vitola is really impressive in term of Size. Smell is great and I am expecting a great time, although I cannot get ride of my fear to have the Cuaba taste that I do not like... Well, it is definitely better than the Cuaba, no comparison. It taste the Bolivar Liga, definitely, but rather medium-bodied. For sure it is way too young, but really good for a cigar that was boxed 2-3 weeks ago... I would buy some for sure, but I would not touch them for a while. Don't ask me for the price, I have no idea how much it will be. Luckily it won't be the price they auctioned them during that evening (us$15k for the box....)... but it was for charity so it's ok... Last but not least, food was terrible, wine was awful, cigars were ok (special mention to the Cohiba Corona especial that was excellent), Ron HC7 and Mojitos was good, fun was GREAT!!!! at least at our table :-P , the one in the back of the room :-D ... Also, anyone know a respectable shop to pick up a handful of cigars - (I'm thinking perhaps a dozen or so). Sounds like there's several decent places to smoke, but I doubt they have the most favorable prices. Variety less important that quality and price. The club website www.cohibaclub.cn. I'm a member at the club but the owner James Wu will take care of all aficionado who shows up. Currently there's a full time cigar roller on the premise so we are getting freshly rolled cigars which is a luxury. Give the club a look if you are looking for a friendly place to smoke. The club is located at the new Yin Tai Towers which is where the new Park Hyatt Beijing is situated.
