After trying to decipher the info above, I have a question. I guess I have never even thought about how many factories Habanos actually has in operation and what the scope of each one is. I have always heard of Partagas, El Laguito, Upmann, and La Corona and always kinda assumed that there may only be 4 or 5 factories. Maybe Rob or someone with some real Havana knowledge can enlighten me b/c it seems after this thread as though there may be many more than I realize. Just curious on how many and how the compare I guess.

jdbrown (OUR) is correct as Trini is a high end name it would have to be made at one of the best factories.

Posted

Iit is nigh impossible for the layman to work out the current factory codes and that is just the way Habanos s.a wants it.

interesting stuff. so that would mean that a lot (all?) of the early siglo vi's were done at upmann rather than laguito. must say i had not twigged to that. just assumed laguito.

Visited H.Upmann recently (april) and heaps of Siglo VI boxes there...
