Headbanger Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 I would like to try my hand at poker. 9 or 10pm Eastern (NY) time works for me. Never played here so hope the poker room is easy to load/use. Thank you for the invite.
Guest rob Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Hi Guys, Please pardon my ignorance - I'm still a newb here and trying to find my way around. Can some one please fill me in (or point me to a link) that outlines these tournaments - cost?, structure? any other details etc... Thanks, Rob.

havanaclub7 Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Rob, Check out the banners on the right hand side of the forum. The third banner down on the right says Poker Tournament. Just click on that banner at the appointed time and follow the directions. There is no cost, everyone starts the table with $1000 and we play till someone wins the whole enchilada. When you're broke, you're out. Trevor or Prez usually posts a reminder shortly before the start. It's a great time! Except, of course, when Ken's full house beats my straight!

Thanks mate, very much appreciated. So, I guess - COUNT ME IN! (sunday (EST Australian time) is best for me as well) Do you need to know what my Screen Name is on the poker software? Cheers Pres for hosting this. Rob.

Rob, you set this up when you first register, which you can do now. Can use your FOH name (as most do) or choose another. You also choose a password.

Tony Maduro Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 I'd love to play if I'm not too late in registering.

Trevor2118 Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 » As of late I have had the opportunity to play in a local rotating Hold'em tournament. The location varies but the buy-in is usually $20 - $30 USD. Top 3 are in the money. It great practice playing against complete strangers.. yep........were all fairly strange..
tapewormboy Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I'd like to play! If I could get a game day after May 3rd that would be great.
