El Presidente Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 I was scheduled yesterday on a major local station to do a half hour radio interview on "real" life in Cuba. Two hours prior I received an phonecall from the producer who after doing some research and reviewing the forum....thought it best not to proceed I have never been so proud...apparently you buggers and I are too "Risque" :-D

asmith Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 » It's really sad when Australian media refuses to embrace the freedom of speech that Cubans long for! Cubans may long for free speech but do they really want Ayala as that voice in Australia. I guess it could be worse it could be the singing wine critique Ken.

brooklyn Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Risque is our middle name. We hope to soon restore freedom of speech over here as soon as soon as the "Decider" leaves town and goes back to his christian "lush" life!

Bernard Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 That is a pretty poor effort. What is pressure from the advertisers perhaps? Find another radio station that wants to increase their ratings. The best way to get publicity is to get banned - it guarantees an audience when you are allowed to speak. Viva the revolution and Viva Rob, the champion of the oppressed?
