I'm new to the forum and would like to say Hello to everyone here.

I have been reading the posts here for about a month and found a wealth of information and a great bunch of people.

Been smoking cigars since 99 so I still have a lot to learn from everyone here.

best regards

Alberto

G'day Alberto. :waving:

Welcome to FOH. It's an awesome forum with great members. Enjoy.

I've enjoyed my trips to Singapore and Malaysia. Where's your fav place to enjoy a cigar in Singapore?

Cheers

Welcome Alberto, tell me, do you know of a good place to enjoy a cigar and drink at or near the international airport.

I will be stopping over for a few hours to and from Bangkok in the near future?

Cheers

Hi mef,

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I use to go to the Raffles Town Club to smoke. Its called the Cellar & Humidor and is furnished in the style of an English reading room with high wood-panelled walls in rich mahogany tones. Members can indulge in the comfort of plush leather sofas, comfortable wingback chairs, and Turkish carpets. But with the smoking ban, it difficult to find places to smoke a ciggie, must less a cigar.

But since I move to my new home two years ago, I now enjoy my smokes in the balcony. Its quite, secluded and I can drink my favourite drink without people thinking that I'm crazy... which is milk!

I beginning to wonder if anybody drink milk with their cigars:-P

Hi Nugget,

If you are at Terminal 1, there is one area (other than the stuffy smoking room) that you can have a smoke. Its the Cactus Garden at Transit Mall West, Level 3 (This is an outdoor area that you can order alcaholic and non alcaholic beverages).

At Terminal 2 its the Sunflower Garden at Transit Mall South, Level 3.

I'm not too sure about Terminal 3 as I have not travelled out of it yet.

Hope this helps

Alberto,

I've not tried cigars with milk. But NZ does have great quality dairy products :rotfl:

But i do enjoy cigars with good Chinese or Japanese (sencha) green tea. It's extremely freshing and great for vertical testing of cigars.

Hi mef,

... not only do they have great dairy products, but some of the best trout waters, sauvignon blanc and pinot noirs as well.

I like milk with my cigars simply because of the clean, creamy and netural taste and its never like to clash with the cigars.

Some day, I'm going to come over to NZ and fly fish for at least a week... if there is any funds left after buying cigars:-P
