Don Candido Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 » Monte 4 with coffe this morning and tonight will a sig 6. It has been a crazy cigar week. Today (and yestreday) I enjoyed a Partagas Sobrasalientes from the 2007 Replica Ancient humidor. These cigars could use some time, but they are so great right now, i am not sure they will ever get the time I would want to try them with at my home.... A great smoke! Hats off to Habanos for this one! Rob/Lisa - I am ready for my humidor! Got it yet? If they get a humidor to me, I will be happy to do some trades to people who would like to try it, but have not had chance as of yet. Where is a humidor for me to trade with Lisa?! :-) Love DC!
Ken Gargett Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 decided i needed something ecent so pulled out a 98 partagas lusi. just love them. might fire one up for the bowl as well.

yossie Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 After break fast, I smoked Trinidad reyes. It didn't burn well and stopped doing during smoking. But I didn't light it up again since It's not yummy.
jdbrown Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Cohiba Secretos from July 07. They keep getting better!
ucla695 Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 I had an MC4 as I BBQ'd this evening. It started off with a subdued, classic Monte profile, but then went a little flat. Since this was from a 5 pack that I received within the past several months (box code unknown), I suspect that they are young and are starting to get a little sleepy. The burn was spot on though.
Ken Gargett Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 » Ken when you visit i want a 98 as i have not had one and heard they » unreal.:-D jimmy, you are more than welcome but you had better hurry, i'm down to my last 45!! got a cab of them from rob in the older cigar sale little while back, he'd sold me a box of the 97s which were wonderful. these as good.
TexaSmoke Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 » Monte 4 with coffe this morning and tonight will a sig 6. I smoked Bolivar Royal Corona. Me, the wife and another couple met at a wine bar, sat outside to listen to the music, drank wine and smoked cigars. We had a great time. :-D
Guest josho2001 Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 I'm saving one of my few remaining cubans for tomorrow night after the game so tonight I smoked a Padron 1926. It was decent, not nearly as good as the 1964 though.
