I don't see any economic recovery happening until after the presidential election. If Obama is elected, I suspect there will be a honeymoon between the President and the media unlike any other. That should boost consumer confidence nicely.

I was hoping for a 1% rise in the ASX200... but, given that the ASX tends to mirror the direction of the previous movement in the US markets, Friday's ~0.7% drop in the DJIA shattered that hope :crying:
