El Presidente
Still finalising dates but after this years RTDA (finishing 17th July) I hope to hang around for 7 -8 days and fly to a few cities to catch up with members. Jimmy....I am going to put off NY (Lisa just came back from there) until this time next year as I am spending close to a week in NY after the 2009 Habanos festival to celebrate the 50th birthday of good mate and local member Arthur Kassos. So my three destinations for get togethers would be Las Vegas (during the RTDA) Chicago Florida (Miami or Tampa) Just looking for feedback on where in Florida most members prefer. I lean toward Tampa because I know it better than Miami and I know that excellent cigar establishments exist and it is easy to get around. Let me know your thoughts
Miami101
Miami would be great, but I would drive up to Tampa in a heart beat.
Miami101
Miami is good for vacation....Tampa is only 3 hours away...Anyone that wants to drive up with me is welcome....3 hours we could do a few good smokes on the way.

habanohal
» Glad to see Chicago is on your list. Looking forward to meeting up with » you and other locals. Same here, but hopefully in the warmer months.....Really sucks now that there is no smokeing in ANY public place, through the whole state. Even within 15 ft from any entrace ( I know that for cops gave me a warning at Casino today) :-D

Nothing fancy but at least we can smoke and gamble. It is located in Glenview, North suburbs about 15 miles north of downtown.. Any interest from the Chicago contingents? Prez, keep me posted on the dates.

Nice too see you if you make it to Chicago. Just be warned IL passed a no smoking ban. So no smoking anywhere. Only places to smoke are tobacco shops. ANd few outdoor bars/clubs venues in the summer. If you do swing by ther best cigar shop in IL Belicoso would be happy to host a FOH event. FOr all the FOH members. I am good friends with the managers. I spoke with Lisa in length about your US Embrionic tour and depending upon your starting point I'm in for at least half the ride. We had a nice stint of warm weather here about three weeks ago so I blew off work and rode about 600 miles in three days . BTW I'm not a half bad mechanic. I preform all my own services and just finished changing out and internal wiring my new ape hangers oh and I installed a set of new tires. Plus I gotta meet Mel.
